Beautiful afternoon of driving my little brother around, eating too much McDonald’s, then Barnes & Noble with Thatcher and dinner at Panda Express. I feel too at home but I’m leaving soon and I don’t even care, he means the world to me and he shouldn’t.
Drowning in the 15+ scholarship essays/applications I have left, cranking through them but it’s exhausting...

These statements are followed by funny silences, ones that fill me up and seem to lift me for a second, only to let me down gently and slowly. I wonder where I will be not a year from now, not months or weeks or days, but minutes and seconds.
