do not join the band of rogues who never actually read fitzgerald or any of these great authors, but mindlessly reblog their quotes on tumblr.
it aggravates me. probably because being an avid reader of fitzgerald, context is a huge part of half of the points he makes. it’s funny in the way that i will read a quote on here, remember where it occurred in the particular story it’s from,...
god i want to take a picture that actually means something to me. something heavy. something that means more than just silly self portraits and moments that i don’t want to be fleeting.
